Toniic Diirectory Expansion.

The Toniic Diirectory was launched as part of the T100 project in December 2016. It is a publicly accessible catalog of more than 1,100 impact investments across all asset classes peer-sourced from the portfolios of Toniic members, especially 100% Impact Network participants, and ImpactAssets’ Giving Fund. It is searchable by impact categories, impact themes, asset classes, investment vehicle, liquidity profile, impact geography and more, and enables philanthropists and individual investors to identify and participate in leading impact investment opportunities.

“As a trusted third party, Toniic can aggregate information through the T100 Project, and help investors and advisors find and learn from what other impact investors have invested in,” said Toniic co-founder Charly Kleissner. “We are excited that significant industry leaders like ImpactAssets want to use the Toniic Diirectory platform to share their investments publicly.”

“Resources like the Toniic Diirectory are critical as impact investing moves from niche to mainstream,” said ImpactAssets President Tim Freundlich. “We are excited to be a part of rigorous research that is uncovering the impediments and accelerators to impact investing and providing insights into the innovative companies and fund managers solving the world’s biggest problems.”

T100 Personal Journeys and videos uploaded to the T100 webpage.

To help broaden the field of impact investing, the Toniic Institute shares collective member experiences, expert knowledge and personal journey stories. Read the very candid and personal stories of Toniic investors on their journey to 100% impact investing, or tune into videos from Toniic investors who share why and how they have embarked on their journey to invest 100% of their investible assets towards impact.

Toniic’s CEO Adam Bendell points out: “The T100 project publishes longitudinal, quantitative data as evidence of the viability of impact investing, which is essential to growth of the field, but not sufficient.  The very personal narratives of those making the journey to 100% impact is what really inspires individual investors to rethink their approach.”
