Scott Saslow is the Founder and CEO of ONE WORLD Training & Investments, a for-profit public benefit corporation based in Palo Alto, CA that provides training and investment capital to social impact companies in The San Francisco Bay Area. Since its founding, ONE WORLD has provided training programs to over 1,000 professionals including company CEOs, impact investors, and leaders in large enterprises across all industries. ONE WORLD also manages an early stage impact fund, with a portfolio of over 16 companies.
Prior to founding ONE WORLD, Scott was the Founder & CEO of The Institute of Executive Development (IED), a for-profit global company that provided innovative executive and senior leader development. IED was the largest in its field and most dynamic in terms of its services, with over 3,000 professionals from 75 countries using IED’s services. Scott has consulted with numerous clients including American Express, Bank of New York Mellon, Boeing, BP, CBS, Cisco, Darden Restaurants, Gap, Harvard Business School, HP, Intel, Kraft, MetLife, Microsoft, Time Warner and The U.S. Navy.
Scott graduated from Harvard University with a Masters in Business Administration and from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is also a graduate of The Center for Creative Leadership’s program on Developing Successful Executives, and is certified in a variety of management development tools. He is a former leader of the Bay Area Executive Development Network and member of The Harvard Business School Bay Area Alumni Association of Northern California.
Scott resides in Palo Alto, CA with his family. He is active with the local community formerly serving as Co-Board Chair for Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship, a non-profit organization in San Francisco and as a Director of The Sunshine Foundation in Chicago.
