Jenna joins Toniic as a Fellow with international experience in impact investing, social entrepreneurship and strategic philanthropy. Her passion for social entrepreneurship led her to become the co-founder and CEO of Phoenix Global Impact, a consulting firm that specializes in helping leaders in the impact investing space. Additionally, she is an Associate to Wayne Silby, Chairman of Calvert Special Equities in Washington, DC and serves as an advisor to Nexus Global Youth Summit, Impact Hub DC and High Water Women.
Throughout her career Jenna cultivated her expertise while working with note-worthy organizations like the Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR); the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society; the Siebel Foundation; the Global Health Corps and Business for Social Responsibility in Beijing. Previous roles include sitting on the Board of the Stanford Haas Centre for Public Service and the Judging Chair of the Business Association for Stanford Entrepreneurial Students Social Entrepreneurship Competition. Jenna also co-taught a course at Tsinghua School of Economics, and Management in Beijing on Value Creation through Impact Investing and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Jenna received an International Relations Honors Degree from Stanford University and studied International Development at Oxford University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, dancing and is an active member of the Bahá’í Faith. She is based in Washington DC.

Ad van der Sluijs is a Dutch financial executive with over 25 years of international experience in the profit and non-profit sector. He served his family business in oil trading, transport and storage for 12 years as CFO. In this period he was involved in several take-overs and triple sales growth to EUR 2 billion. In 2003 Ad joined ICCO, a major Dutch NGO’s for-development cooperation with programs in 50 countries, as corporate controller. Since 2011 Ad has been active as an impact investor on various levels and roles. He launched Both Sides Now to develop his personal impact investment activities focusing mainly on renewable energy and agriculture . At the same time he joined Toniic, where he also supported the Toniic Europe circle (which had only 6 members at that time) to grow by serving as deal flow manager until 2013. In 2012 Ad set up a family impact fund under the name Exclusa. He is currently financial advisor at ICCO investments and fund manager for Capital4Development, an impact investing fund of EUR 20 mio founded by a group of the Dutch NGOs. In 2015 he joined the Investment Committee of a Belgium/Dutch impact Fund SI². Ad graduated from Tilburg University with a MSc in Business Economics. He is married with 4 children and enjoys travelling and socializing in his spare time.
